Want To Know More About Your Adobe Licensing Requirement? Let Us Help You

From Perpetual to Cloud licensing model, Adobe has come a long way. In order to suit the licensing requirements of each and every customer, they have constantly changed their licensing services. At present, Adobe offers its customers two types of licensing:

1) Adobe Cloud for Enterprise Also known as CCE

2) Adobe Cloud for Teams Also known as CCT

Although both types of licensing are available for Adobe customers, it’s important that you understand both of them before choosing one for your enterprise. In this article, we have tried to explain the differences between CCE and CCT in order to help you make the right choice!

CCE has a Single Sign-on option which makes it easier for the admin to manage license deployment. On the other hand, CCT requires every user to have a username that they can use to download Adobe software.

Cloud Space:

CCE offers a shared Cloud space which can be accessed by all the users. CCT, however, assigns every user his/her own Cloud space. Once that space is fully utilized, the user either has to delete the old files or transfer them to a storage device in order to make more space.

Terms of Purchase:

CCE can be bought via resellers and is available under 2 different licensing programs: VIP and ETLA (Enterprise Term Licensing Agreement).

  • If the customer chooses to buy CCE under VIP, the price is fixed for upto 1 or 3 years in US Dollars and has to be paid as and when the number of licenses are increased. The license count under VIP can only be reduced at the end of the anniversary date, which will fall after 1 year or 3 years, depending on the accepted terms at the time of order placement.
  • If the customer chooses to buy CCE under ETLA, the price is fixed in US Dollars for 3 years and the payment has to be made once a year on pro-rata basis. Just like under VIP, the license count under ETLA can only be reduced at the end of anniversary date, which will fall after 1 year or 3 years, depending on the accepted terms at the time of order placement.

CCT can be bought via Resellers or directly from Adobe website, and is available only under the VIP licensing program.

  • If the customer chooses to buy CCT from the Adobe website, the only mode of payment is via Credit card and the customer can choose to pay either monthly or annually. The billing will be done from Digital River, Ireland in US Dollars equivalent to the local currency where you will be using the product.

So here’s everything you need to know about both the licensing models Adobe offers. Hope it helps you to choose the one that suits your requirement. If you have any more questions, send us an e-mail at <>.

7 Things You Didn’t Know About Adobe Creative Cloud

Whether you’re new to Adobe Creative Cloud or a long time user, it’s always helpful to learn something new. That’s why we’ve put together a quick list of things you may not actually know about Adobe Creative Cloud.

Read on to discover some great points that could give you a helping hand as you complete your future projects.

1. You can use Adobe Portfolio to create your own Portfolio website.

As a creative professional, you’ll need to have a website to represent yourself online – usually in the form of a portfolio which you can use to show off your very best work and prove to potential clients what you’re capable of.

Setting up a website can be complicated and time-consuming, so save yourself the stress by simply creating one with Adobe Portfolio!

2. There’s a Creative Cloud Mobile App.

You may not have realised that Creative Cloud has its own mobile app,; which lets you access any of your Creative Cloud files from your smartphone or tablet. You can even use your device to edit them and sync the changes on the go.

3. You can download up to 500 design elements a month from Creative Cloud Market.

As a Creative Cloud subscriber, you’re entitled to download up to 500 ‘assets’ from Creative Cloud Assets which can be used in Illustrator, Photoshop and other Creative Cloud apps. Once downloaded, you’re welcome to use them in any of your creative projects.

4. Typekit gives you access to new fonts.

If the preinstalled fonts on your computer aren’t right for the job, try Typekit. You’ll gain access to Typekit with your Creative Cloud subscription and can use the fonts you choose to download in any of your projects.

5. You can set up a group library.

When working as a group, you can set up a ‘Library’ that ensures everyone on your team can access the same images, graphics and colour schemes to create a cohesive project.

6. Creative Sync lets you pick up where you left off.

If you’ve been working all day on your desktop at work but want to take the project home, you’ll be happy to know that your project will be ready and wait for you on your personal computer at home.

With Creative Sync, your work can be saved to the cloud rather than a device, allowing you to pick up right where you left off.

7. Creative Cloud apps run from your computer – not the cloud.

Initially, many people have put off the idea of a cloud service as they think they’ll have to rely on their internet connection to get the work done – but that’s actually not the case. When you subscribe, you’ll download the software to run from your hard drive.

Now you’re aware of these facts and tips, you’ll be able to put them to good use while using Adobe Creative Cloud. We hope you enjoy making the most of them!

If you don’t already have Adobe Creative Cloud of any of its individual applications, you can purchase them from AisplStore! We offer the entire Creative Cloud Suite both individually, and as a bundle, so you’ll always have access to everything you need.

The Photoshop Plugins You Should Be Considering: Available at AisplStore!

But aside from the cool tools that come as standard with Photoshop, you may also want to expand your options by using additional Photoshop plugins.

There are plenty of plugins and add-ons available around the web so you may wish to browse and see what takes your fancy. But for now, let’s take a closer look at the plugins available right here at AisplStore.

Red Giant Effects Suite (v11.1.7)

The suite includes:

  • Text Anarchy – for animating text.
  • ToonIt – to create comic book style effects.

Red Giant Knoll Light Factory (v3.0)

If you like the sound of the Red Giant Knoll Light Factory but don’t think you’ll get enough use out of the entire Suite package, you’ll be glad to know that the plugin is available to purchase and install individually.

Known for being a favourable product with Hollywood producers, the plugin allows you more options than ever when it comes to colour, depth and interest. It’s, therefore, a great expansion on the standard Photoshop features and a must have for any visual effects pro or enthusiast.

As with the full Red Giant Effects Suite, this individual plugin is available for both Windows and Mac.

ABSoft Neat Image (v7.6)

Sometimes even the best photographers’ photos don’t come out quite how they want them to – often due to elements that are out of their control such as poor lighting or high-speed motion.

An essential tool for photographers, the ABSoft Neat Image plugin offers the best noise reduction for digital cameras and scanners. It provides an excellent filter than will make your shots less grainy, leaving a more professional, high-quality result.

Creative Suite vs. ‘Just a Few’ Apps: How to Decide Which Adobe Products to Pick

Although you can still purchase older editions of the older Adobe suites such as CS6, most creatives and professionals are moving over to Adobe Creative Cloud.

Adobe Creative Cloud is a cloud-based system that stores all your programs, files and information on the web which can be accessed through your unique login details.

Not only is this more secure, but it also saves you space on your computer or external hard drive. Perfect!

But the range of great tools, security and storage comes at a price – with monthly subscription fees varying depending on the apps you use. To ensure you’re not spending more than you need to, you’ll need to consider what you actually need from Adobe Creative Cloud.

What will you be using it for?

All of Adobe’s individual apps do drastically different things – and while a creative professional may use them all on a daily basis, others may have absolutely no need for half of them. If you subscribe to the entire suite, you will gain access to:

  • Photoshop
  • Lightroom
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
  • Experience Design (Beta)
  • Premiere Pro
  • After Effects
  • Project Felix
  • Dreamweaver
  • Muse
  • Acrobat Pro
  • Animate
  • Audition
  • Bridge
  • Character Animator (Beta)
  • Media Encoder
  • Fuse (Preview)
  • Flash Builder
  • InCopy
  • Prelude
  • Spark
  • Scout
  • SpeedGrade
  • Story Plus
  • PhoneGap Build
  • Gaming SDK
  • Extension Manager
  • ExtendScript Toolkit

Wow, that’s a lot of apps! But really, how many do you need? If your job (or hobby) is related to graphic design, do you really need an app aimed at app developers for example?

If you’re not going to be using the majority of apps on a regular basis, you may be able to get a better deal on just a few apps instead.

Add the monthly cost of your chosen apps. How does it compare to the cost of the entire Creative Suite?

Once you’ve determined which of the apps you actually need, take a look to see how much they cost to subscribe to individually. Prices range depending on the individual app, with some being higher due to their wide range of features or complexity.

Add together the cost of subscribing to each app individually and check your total. If it’s lower than the cost of subscribing to the full creative suite, that’s great – you’re saving money!

But in the event it ends up being more, you may as well pay for the Suite subscription and enjoy the option to use the extra apps should you ever need to.

So whether just an individual app is enough for your needs or you’d be better off going all out and subscribing to the full Creative Cloud Suite, check out your options here at AisplStore!

Why Is Adobe The Industry Standard? Here’s Why It’s The Best At What It Does

The term ‘industry standard’ is one that’s thrown around a lot – especially in creative fields. But what does a piece of software have to accomplish before getting that level of recognition?

In most cases, it’s a program or tool that has become so consistently used in a specific industry, that it has gained acceptance as the ‘go to’ software of professionals.

You probably already know that Adobe Creative Suite (now Creative Cloud) and its individual programs are the industry standard for most creative fields – and that’s for a good reason!

It’s the most powerful tool available.

Adobe Creative Cloud and its individual programs are the most powerful tools available for creative projects. They use cutting edge technology to ensure users have the tools they need, a clear and functional user interface and quick and responsive software to help them get the job done.

It has more features than its free (or cheaper) competitors.

So it may be a little pricier – that’s to be expected, but that’s simply down to the huge number of features, especially when compared to other products on the market.

There are cheaper and even free alternatives that can be downloaded from the web, but users of these programs often find themselves wishing they had that one extra tool they need. Chances are, whatever the tool is – Adobe has it.

Adobe places a focus on its customers and their needs.

Adobe is made by professionals for professionals, so they’re known for listening to the needs of their customers.

The company understands what its users are looking for and aims to bring them software and tools that can help them reach their goals.

The programs within the Creative Cloud are regularly updated.

Once you’ve subscribed to Creative Cloud or any of Adobe’s products, you’ll notice the software updates itself whenever something is changed or added.

Even before the cloud-based system was introduced, Adobe would still ensure updates were regular and helpful, especially when rolling out bug fixes or repairing any issues users were having.

You’ll always find something new.

Adobe prides itself on being innovative, so you’re sure to find a wealth of new features in any update or upgraded release.

This gives professionals, even more, tools to create their very best work, and has been known to make users of rival software envious of Adobe users’ options. In turn, this has lead more and more people to become Adobe users themselves.

So if you’re not yet an Adobe user, what are you waiting for? There’s no time like the present, so give Adobe software a try. You’ll soon understand why it’s built up such a large fan base and become the number one industry standard.

At AisplStore, you can purchase subscriptions to Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as the individual programs in the event you do not need the entire collection. You’re bound to find the perfect creative product for your needs!

Managing Image Licenses with Adobe Stock

Increasing Use of Images Creates Challenges

As visual content becomes more important, large organizations are facing unique challenges. According to the CMO Council, 65% of senior executives say that visuals are critical to how their brands communicate. 46% feel that photography drives their marketing and storytelling efforts. Large organizations need a steady supply of fresh images, videos and other visual assets. Yet they also require the right tools for integrating images into the creative workflow, managing image licenses, controlling costs and tracking usage.

Streamlined Workflows for Creatives

For businesses that rely on visuals, a streamlined workflow is key. “We work in a very visual business. Photos and video are what we trade in, so having access to everything in Adobe Creative Cloud is very important for us,” says Williams.

Designers can search Adobe Stock’s image libraries through an in-app search feature. For example, when your design team is working on a project in a Creative Cloud app, it’s possible to find a photo, create watermarked libraries to share with your team, automatically apply edits made to watermarked images to the licensed images, and share content changes across teams for consistency. Each step happens in Creative Cloud’s integrated interface, eliminating collaboration challenges and unnecessary administrative steps.

Eliminate Duplicate Purchases and Redundancy

For large organizations, eliminating duplicate purchases and redundancy is key. Adobe Stock for enterprise’s advanced reporting capabilities improve budget controls and let teams quickly see whether images have been used before. Pooled images makes it easy to share images across teams, without having to email assets back and forth. When updates are made to images in the library, your team can access the latest version for consistency across channels. You have better control over both your team’s time and your brand’s visual identity.

Managing Licensing Rights

Enterprise users have access to a single dashboard to manage their licenses. Images are royalty-free, with no file restrictions in terms of deadlines or expiration dates, and no geographical restrictions. Plus Adobe Stock for enterprise offers unlimited distribution, print runs and usage rights. For large organizations with unique needs, it’s also possible to explore custom licensing agreements. Adobe Stock’s licensing management meets critical licensing and indemnification requirements or organizations that deliver global brand campaigns – allowing expanded creative freedom and minimizing administrative responsibilities.
